Site of an old RAF airfield, now used as a construction training college. Famously haunted. Opened in 1916 as a Royal Flying Corps training school, but towards the end of World War One became a heavy bomber station. In 1936 it became a Coastal Command airfield, and remained so until the end of World War Two. Afterwards it was devoted to various training roles, and the RAF finally closed the site at the end of 1962. Famous actor Richard Burton was once stationed here!
