Old Stone House Museum

Reconstruction of the former Vechte–Cortelyou House c. 1699 which was reconstructed in the 1933 as a park building with many of the original stones. The site played a major role in the Battle of Long Island. The museum is operated by the City of New York and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
