Excellent beer brewed on-site including cask-conditioned hand pump beers. Excellent food. Housed in a 1903 Victorian. The building was a pharmacy in the 1920s when the beautiful interior woodwork was installed. During the late 1960s and early 1970s the space was occupied by Magnolia Thunderpussy, a former dancer, who made curiously-shaped desserts.
