This is an archaeological site in present Ghoraghat Upazila of Dinajpur District. The area is enclosed by earthen wall and a moat. The wall has been damaged at different locations. The fortified settlement is considered to be a medieval (13th -18th century CE) site. This fort is within a more larger settlement. According to various historical and archaeological sources, this place and surrounding area were an important centre of Sultanate and Mughal administration and also, a trade centre. Its military importance is also significant.
