    Historic place, Rajmahal History It was said that in ancient India Rajmahal was capital of Bengal Orissa and Bihar. This is a historic place and forgot by current generation.The distance from Bhagalpur City is 100 KM and distance from Sahibganj is 50 KM. Places to watch Singhi Dalan,Kanhayya Sthan, Jumma Masjid, Katghar(Grains are turned in to stone). Near by Place is MOti Jharna in Maharajpur. How to reach From Patna toward Bhagalpur Sahibganj get down at Tinpahar Jn and catch atrain for Rajmahal. or from Taljhari(before Tinpahar towards Bhagalpur from Malda town) there are some private vehicle whi will lead to Rajmahal.     Rajmahal is really a nice place.I will request to all of you whoever is going to visit this site (wikimapia.com ) please see the Rajmahal at once in your life. All most all the things my childhood friend Sanjeev has been mantion.I am trying to put story of katghar in brief. .This is place 5 KM away from Rajmahal Town. My Grandfather was saying to me that there was big shopkeeper in katghar for 150(approx) year ago. On that time sage went to his shop and begging. Sage : Bheekshan dehi(give me somthing) Shopkeeper : i don't have anything to give you.Everything is only stone made. Sage: Whatever the thing you are saying to me will be right. After that sage went. Shopkeeper:When he is watching his goods such as rice,puls pea,gram bla bla.Everything changed to stone. Now also you can see stone rice ,stone puls in Rajmahal. If you will just See the rice you cann't identify whether it is stone rice or original.But when you touch than only you can identify. This is not just a story its a fact.If you don't belive you can ask to any one whoever belongs to Rajmahal.You can steel See it also in Rajmahal rarely now.

    Rajmahal is very old historic town situated near the river Ganga,holy river not only source of livelihood also no of pilgrims comes here to bath in this holy river,there was time when it was capital of three state,but is beauty is everseen for tourist.Town is very calm place,in the heart of town Singhi dalal made by Mansingh is situated,where at the time of mugal empire collection of taxes from Singhi dalan, In river Ganga u can enjoy boating.Eight KM far from Rajmahal town Jami Masjid,Brah Dwari is historical place at Mangalhat.Kanihiya asthan 12 km from town is holy place where food print of Chaitanyaa Mahaprabhu can seen.Many no of foreigners come here to this temple . Moti Jharna in Maharajpur is beauty of nature,only one fossil park at Mandro in Jharkhand state is in Sahibganj district. Udhwa bird sanctuary ony one bird sanctuary of jharkhand 10 KM from Rajmahal. Udhawa nala is the place where Sirajudaullah defeated and throw there right hand in this Udhawa nala,it remembers history. Vindhwasini temple in Barharwa 25 km from Rajmahal is very beautiful.

    i have spend my childhood just 7 km away from raj mahal towords tinpahar that is kajigaon . lots of monuments tourist place in rajmahal area like singhi dalan,kanhayia sthan,katghar(Grains are turned in to stone), udhwa nala, patoda jhill, .....! rajmahal is known as the city of mango . very good academic instituion( mundli mission ) is also in rajmahal that is one of the identity of rajmahal itself.so i strongly recomended you should definetly visit.EAK BAR AAP-BHI KAHOGE EAK BAR TO ANNA HI CHAHIYE...(SPECIAL REQUEST -EAK BAR AAO TO SINGHI DALAN PE JAKAR GANGA JAROOR NAHAO AUR WAHAN KA RASGULLA JAROOR KAHAO)
