In the Middle Ages, the manor belonged to Vastseliina (Neuhausen) Episcopal Castle. Later, it was associated with the von Budberg, the von Vietinghoff and the von Fusch noble families. The historicist wooden main building was completed in 1875. Currently, it houses a library and the community centre. By the historical distribution the manor was in Rõuge Parish in Võrumaa County. By the present administrative distribution it belongs to the Rõuge Municipality in Võrumaa County.
