Former locations for gas station/auto repair center Abrahamson's Standard Service/Standard Oil (c. late 1930's [located at the corner of S Washington Ave. and E Dowland St.]-1979 [Abrahamson Marine Service expanded into the gas station building and converted into a boat repair shop]), sports shop Abrahamson's Sport Center ([located west from this building] 1956-1979), boat/marine shop Abrahamson Marine Service ([located west from this building but expanded into the former gas station building] 1979-1990), Abrahamson Marine (1990-March 1999 [relocated to 820 W 1st St. and reopened in early-April 1999]), and Airport Restaurant ([located south from this building] late 1930's-March 31, 1999). The boat shop buildings and the restaurant were all demolished around May 1999. The current building was constructed around mid 1999 and the pharmacy was opened around early 2000. Its original location was located at Ludington Plaza at 4510 W US-10 (currently Lowe's).
