This 24 hour café has been a popular hangout with Berlin's artists and intellectuals since it opened in 1978. Originally run by a group of eccentric feminists, men were charged 1 DM to enter (the money went to services for battered women). Still, lovably eccentric, no visit it complete without a visit to the upstairs bathrooms... especially the lady's room.
