Besides the port, there are also important industries like Paradeep Phosphates limited, IFFCO, Cargil India,Goa Carbon, Essar, upcoming mega project of OICL oil refinery are situated in the jurisdiction. The proposed mega steel plant of POSCO India limited is situated bordering to this P.S. jurisdiction. At present Sri Kumar Mani Mehera, OPS-1, Additional Superintendent of Police is heading the local Police administration and Sri Bhabani Sankar MIshra is the Inspector-in-Charge of Paradeep P.S.
