A ruined and overgrown Classical Greek fortification atop the eastern summit of Mount Oneion (now called Stanotopi). Most of the northern wall and sections of the western walls are still traceable, as are the remains of the square tower in the center of the fort. The fort controlled or monitored access to the Corinthian plain from the south. It is thought that the permanent defenses on Stanotopi were erected in response to the incursions of Thebans and Argives in the region between 371 and 366 BC. It might have been used by Macedonian troops during the League of Corinth after 338 BC. Use of the fort appears to have declined after the last mention of the mountain's defenses in 224 BC.

The fort was identified by R. S. Stroud, "An Ancient Fort on Mount Oneion," Hesperia 40 (1971) 127-145.
