This is the filming location for Prof. Jerry Hathaway's house, "The Popcorn House," in the movie Real Genius. The house used in filming was a Victorian style home built as a set for the movie. The current home looks very different. As the trees and other shubbery is much larger now the neighborhood is unrecognizable as the one from the film. The culvert on the north side of the home, that "Ick" runs through is still present.

Spoiler Alert:
The movie house was destroyed by 190,000 pounds of popcorn, ignited by a laser from an aircraft.
