Bill Kurtis purchased this area, restored the town of Sedan, and helped rebuild an artists' community. The entire story is re-told in the NYTimes. The ranch is a tourist location, in a state lacking many of those things... Other than the biggest ball of twine or a prairie dog that stands 3 stories (don't ask)
