This is the highest point in Osage County. I think. If someone knows different, please post a message. I have studied the topo maps and I think this is right. The high point is at the top of the escarpment which you can easily see if you use the terrain feature of the map. This is a beautiful place. The drop off of the escarpment in a few hundred feet and in all directions is tallgrass prairie. The escarpment runs roughly from Hwy. 60 to the South and to the Kansas line to the North.
