  To anybody looking for a good YMCA in this area don't listen to the idiot who thinks this place is rundown. Trust me I've seen a lot of YMCA's this one is the best by far. They have a full time cleaning and maintenance crew. Everyone who works there is exceptionally friendly and the eqiupment is brand new. What other YMCA in the country has two Olympic sized swimming pools (one outdoor one inside), a pool on the lower level with a slide and a channel, a kiddy pool, a play pool outside, a senior citizen pool. Two indoor running tracks. Two main basketball gyms another mini-gym and one basketball gym with carpet over the floor of it. A day care center. A dedicated gymnastics center (used to be another basketball gym...that would make three of those) with a spring floor, a tumble track, and an in-ground foam pit (a lot of private clubs don't even have that type of equipment) There's also the indoor soccer arena downstairs. Oh and did I mention the raquetball courts and coffee shop inside or the tennis courts and skate park outside? The list goes on and on.
