A proposed housing development in the North East of Nuneaton.

Nuneaton and Bedworth Borough Council have accepted the initial planning application. A further planning application is due to be submitted with further details.

Current details:
• Up to 850 new homes;
• A mix of sizes and types of housing including affordable housing;
• Access off the Long Shoot (utilising the approved Phase 1 access and access off the A5 to the north of the site);
• New two form entry Primary School;
• Community Hub/Local Centre;
• Open Spaces for both active and passive recreation;
• Pedestrian and Cycle connections through to adjoining developments;
• The retention and enhancement of existing boundary trees and hedgerows;
• A sustainable urban drainage system (SUDS) to manage surface water and ensure there is no
increased risk of flooding; and
• Provision for the route of the proposed northern distributor road.
