Obelisk, circa 1858, slender, of yellow sandstone with cast iron railings decayed and partly removed. Concave mouldings at base of obelisk shaft and on plinth accentuate the impression of slenderness. On podia attached to the plinth are 4 lions crouching, mourning. The heavy funerary rail survives on 3 of the quadrants between the lions.
