Friends Detroit School was a pre-K through grade 8 operated by the Society of Friends (Quakers). Founded in 1965, it closed in 2015 due to financial issues. The property was purchased by developers in 2018 and the school buildings were demolished. A new development called Pullman Park (named after the Pullman Palace Car Works which occupied the site (1856-1893)) is proposed.
