Buddy Long Memorial

Overlooking a lake in land that used to be owned by the Boy Scouts, this is a memorial to a Boy Scout leader. Currently part of the Geneva Wilderness Preserve.
The memorial bears a plaque inscribed as follows:

Dedicated to the Memory of
H. E. "Buddy" Long, Jr.
Scoutmaster 1981 - 1985
Troop 837, Geneva, Florida
