Coal power--locals don't particularly care for it.

The Salem Harbor plant in Salem, Mass., once had four coal and oil units, with a capacity of 745 megawatts. Due to falling natural gas prices two have closed, and the others are scheduled to close in 2013. The new owner intends to build a 630-megawatt plant that will run on natural gas, however the price of Natural Gas is more volatile and it cannot be stored like Coal or Oil.
