One of the Washington area's smaller drive-ins. Opened in 1949 and shut down in 1974, this single screen drive-in had a capacity for 400 cars. Top photo shows the Sunset Drive-In movie screen directly across the street from the threshold of Runway 17 of the former Washington-Virginia Airport.
