Spindrift Cyclesports is a full-service bicycle shop that sells, repairs, and rents bicycles of all types along with selling parts, accessories, and clothing related to cycling. Our mission is to inspire and nurture enthusiasm for fitness, adventure, and exploring the outdoors.
We value honesty and integrity, having fun while respecting nature and providing exceptional customer service.
We aim to be the “go-to” place for products and information related to cycling and other silent sports. We will match the right product to the customer and back it up with a knowledgeable and friendly staff who actively participate in the sports we promote.
Spindrift is more than a bike shop. It’s a coffee, offering brewed coffee, latte, espresso, and specialty teas, including Traverse City’s Roaster Jack-brand brew as well. It's also a gift shop, specializing in bike-related items like pint glasses, jewelry, and even bowls made of bike chain.
The name Spindriff has several meanings, but mostly relating to snow, sand, and water. Some say it means 'water that blows off a wave.' The Spindriff logo which was created by Chris Van Wyck, shows droplets of water spinning off the top of a wave.
