Jangansa Daeungjeon, the main worship hall.

Jangansa was founded by Wonhyodaesa in 673. Originally called Ssangyesa, was changed to Jangansa in 1350. In 1592 Jangansa was burned to the ground by the invading Japanese and rebuilt in 1638. Jangansa was restored in 1654, and 1975.

Daeungjeon, the main worship hall, is designed by the City of Busan as Ancient Monument #37.
