These parcels were subdivided from the much larger Fullerton Estate, built up by James G. Fullerton of the 130+ year old Fullerton Companies, a family-owned building materials supplier that was originally focused on lumber. It was disposed of during the ownership of James G. Fullerton III, who himself died unexpectedly in 2000 on a fishing trip in Alaska.
