Wallace "Wally Marx" is famous for his elaborate gardens; occasionally he offers public access days.

In 2011, Marx proposed developing his propetty into ten single family homes, which would put 57.5 gross acres into a conservation easement, of which 9.65 of those acres would be considered buildable as defined by the ordinance; this would actually total 77 acres of protected area due to existing areas on the 100+ acre lot area. Marx plans to preserve the gardens.
