This long stretch of lake connects Mara Lake into the Shuswap Lakes. Because of the current there's a lot of deep water along the shore and plenty of houseboat companies on the water. The water is unswimable due to the current and could pull a person under, even with a life jacket on. The houseboat companies are moving out because they are being out bought by condo companies.
