KTN House

This is where my heritage begins. I am the eldest great grand son of KTN. My name is Thanneermalai Narayanan Renganathan. I visited vetriyur in Dec 2005. I much enjoy the tranquility of the place. hoping to return soon.

KTNarayanan Chettiar had 5 children - Narayanan, Somasundaram, Olagappan, Subramaniam and Sivagami. Narayanan migrated to Malaysia and he built up a large family of 6 children and 13 grand children who have since moved on with families of their own - spread in New Zealand, United States and Australia.
Somasundaram migrated to Singapore , has a daughter and two sons and children of their own. The sons remain in Singapore while the daughter has moved to Malaysia. I do not have all the details, so someone in the family who comes to this page may want to fill it up.
Olagappan, passed away in 2007. Settled in Chennai with 4 sons and children of their own. 2 of the sons have migrated to the US while 2 others are in Chennai.
Subramaniam was settled in Madurai till the death of his wife and has since moved to Singapore with his son. He has one son and a daughter. The daughter is married to Sivagami's son and lives in Malaysia.
Sivagami migrated to Malaysia with her husband. She has one daughter and two sons. All of whom are in Malaysia with children of their own.

In summary KTN house has spawned at least 2 PhDs, 8 Medical Doctors, and a good number of professionals in various fields, all from a very humble beginning.
