Regelbau 501 Personnel shelter. One of the most common bunkers in the Atlantikwall. This bunker had only one room which served as shelter for up to 8 persons.
The area around this southern end of the landing beach at Utah, remains much the same as it would have appeared to the troops landing here on the morning of June 6th 1944.
Nicely visible from the street. This one has an added tobruk and small side firing positions.
