This used to be the Elston Sr High School, and A.K. Smith Career Center. It was so named for Major Isaac C. Elston. Its last graduating class as such was 1995, when the schools were consolidated into the current MC High. The old Michigan City cemetery was located somewhere here before being moved to its current location. (Greenwood Cemetery)
