Built to commemorate the Washington State Centennial, the Spokane River Centennial Trail runs 37 miles, from the Idaho state line to Nine Mile Falls northwest of Spokane. It is a paved walking/biking trail, with very gentle inclines, which fairly closely follows the Spokane River.
