After moving to Tucson in the late 1920's with his wife Ruby, Sherry Bowen built this house out of native stones that he found in the surrounding mountains. The roof has long since disintegrated, but you can still see two fireplaces, the remains of a stone bathtub, and fantastic views out of the many large windows. The house was abandoned when the Bowens moved to New York City in 1944 and was incorporated into the Tucson Mountain Park in 1983. Source: Pima County
