  Tucson Estates is where there are 1665 homeowners that enjoy an active life style. There is 2 pools, spau, sauna, 2 tennis courts, 8 suffle board courts, 2 horse shoe pits, 2 pool tables. There is a executive 18 hole golf course. Soon to be developed a private 14 acres of desert walking with improved trails. The 1665 lots are owned. This is a very active community with 2 meeting halls, over 3 smaller rooms for meetings, a free lending library. A new craft shop is used for rock (lapidary) and Pottery. There are over 90 different clubs ranging from cards, regional groups (Minnesota, North East, Canada, ...), exercise, dance, travel, social and special interest groups (red hats, pet owners on parade {poop}, qwilters). The cost are kept down because of the volenteers help manage with much of the business and work of the association. However there are 24+ paid employees to do the tasks not suited to volenteers. We are proud of the New Office and Craft building completed in 2007-2008. There is a major renovation for the golf course in the Spring-Summer of 2008. Play will be restricted to 9 holes during this period. All of this for not extra fee over the low monthly maintence fee of $84 soon to go the $92. What is not covered in fee: Cable TV (Comcast), Garbage Pickup , Phone service and WiFi (high speed internet access for under $18/month for 12 months).
