memorial, pylon, bridge
Twin memorial pylons, each topped with an Art Deco image of the American Eagle, and inscribed with the dates of major wars involving the United States up through their construction in 1929. Benches at the base of each pylon are inscribed with the names of major battles from those wars. The eagles are near-mirror-images of each other, with the exception of what they're holding in their talons. Each pylon is made of limestone and is 145 feet tall.
