The Larkin High School Visual and Performing Arts Academy (VPAA) is a four-year program which offers specialized academic studies and activities in the areas of Art, Dance, Drama, and Music.

The Academy, designed by Dahlquist and Lutzow Architects, consists of a 714 seat Auditorium with all ancillary spaces, plus a Recital/Critique space. The Music Area consists of Band, Orchestra, Chorus Rooms, Ensemble Rooms, Practice Rooms and Music Libraries. The Art Area consists of 2D and 3D Art Rooms, Ceramic Lab and Photo Lab/Dark Rooms. The Academy also houses an Academy Lecture Space, Studio, General Class Rooms, Computer Labs and Office Space.
