Elkhorn Valley Wind Farm is located near the hamlet of Telocaset, about 7 miles (11 km) northeast of North Powder, which is on Interstate 84 about halfway between La Grande and Baker City, Oregon. Commissioned in 2007 and 2008, it consists of 61 Vestas V82/1650 wind turbines with a combined nominal capacity of 100.65 megawatts.
