Church Saint-Brevalaire

France / Bretagne / Kerlouan / Place de l'Église

Of fashionable neogothic style in the XIXth century, this church is formed of a nave of five spans with shoulders, of a transept and a choir of two spans. Three big stained-glass windows of Léopold de Lobin and other, smaller twelve, Léon Payan, represent scenes of the life of the holy Breton. The nave is supported by columns capitals of which are decorated with sculptured foliages. The building, drawn by an architect from Brest, is surmounted by a bell tower of type léonard, in two chambers of bells and two galleries. This parochial church is dedicated in 1866, on one year after its construction.
