Site of a railroad grade crossing. Former site of a small community---some building foundations are still visible. A small pond with trees makes this an oasis in the desert. The pond is fed with water brought by a pipeline originating in the nearby Pilot Mountains.
"Lucin" is the namesake of a railroad line known as the Lucin Cut-off ( en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lucin_Cutoff ).
Another contributor said that "most of the buildings have been moved to Grouse Creek and Montello."
