The "chain bridge" (its proper name: Széchenyi chain bridge), one of Budapest's oldest and - at the same time - most recognizable bridges across the Danube, is one of the Hungarian capital's landmarks.

  • I was recently in Budapeste,and i was in this bridge,and at that time was a fair here, a fair of jazz, the food was excellent, had cool things! I love it!
  • I came to Budapest to look at this famous bridge that was designed by Marlow resident William Tierney Clark who used the Marlow suspension bridge as a blue print for this bridge and I am not disappointed. The 2 bridges are very similar, but Marlow bridge was built in between 1829 and 1832 and Széchenyi chain bridge was opened in 1849.
