In front of the Mae de Deus Chapel, Gaunsavaddo, stands the premier educational institution Holy Cross High School, which was a very popular girls convent in Goa, founded by the Congregation of the Sisters of the Cross of Chavanod, in 1933. However since 1977 it has been converted into a co-ed, with only the boarding restricted for girls. Convent School run by the 'Sisters of the Cross'. I too am an ex student of this school and passed out in the year 1974. Today 14/9/06 is the feast. Happy Feast we used to get lovely food and had a nice time which I cannot forget.

  • I am an ex student of this school. Lived in the boarding for 06 years... didnt really like it then.. but today if i look back i think those are the most cherished memories of my life, i wish i could turn back time... I really love the days i had in the boarding-- The friends, the excitement of going on vacations, the tears when i was dropped back... the love apple tree... which we made every attempt to eat when the tree was laden with fruit.. I miss those days...The best boarding school in the world --- I am what i am today because i was educated here. The people of Siolim are wonderful too... so warm and elite... Totally a different experience.

  • School run by fucking communal nuns/communal people who are trained by their aaakaa's to targert the poor Hindus for conversions. Hindu students are harrassed in this school. This schools are not meant for sensible people's childrens. Only meant for highly communal people
