These two wind farms are located about 12 km WSW of Stirling, Scotland.
The original Earlsburn wind farm was commissioned in 2007, and consists of 15 Nordex N80/2500 wind turbines.
The wind farm extension, called Earlsburn North and then renamed Kingsburn and located in the northwest and north part of the area, was commissioned in 2016 and consists of 9 Nordex N90/2500 wind turbines. Altogether the 24 turbines now have a combined nominal capacity of 60 MW.
