Tirig Hill is among the many newly discovered hills-to-be-hiked around the greater KK area recently. A typical hiker would require about 20 to 30 minutes to reach the top from the starting point at a private land in Lapasan Village, near St. Flora's Catholic Church. The view at the top is pictured to be stunning and picturesque, with a full unobstructed view of the countryside of Telipok and Mengkabong area. In the distance, on a clear day, the highrises of KK city can be made out too. It is advised for hikers to wear long pants due to the long grasses at the peak of hill. Safety wise, this hill is incident-free, where the crowds normally throng in during sunrise and sunset times, when it is said the views are more magnificent.
