Khasa Dam

A Dam between 2009 and 2013 in the Khasa river, north of Kirkuk city, South Kurdistan.
The Dam was built to end the water shortages of the irkuk province.
The project is implemented via the Turkish Orso company, costing an estimated 71 million USD.
The sides of the dam and the water pass way have a height of 58 metres and a length of 2,260 metres, which can save 74 million cubic metres of water.
