 hotel, postmodern (architecture)

315-foot, 26-story postmodern hotel completed in 2022. Designed by Danny Forster Architecture, it was intended to become the world’s tallest modular hotel. The main facade is clad in aluminum panels and glass, with the side elevations in grey limestone. The tower sits at an angle atop the 3-story base of grey limestone. The hotel entrance is at the south end, with a glass door below a bronze canopy. Two metal service doors are at the north end.

The 4th floor is set far back from the base, and is also recessed under the front of the main facade of the tower, with three large, black columns supporting the upper floors. The windows of the main facade are in a staggered pattern, alternating with aluminum panels and fins, some in a bronze color and set at an angle. The modular components of the hotel were constructed offsite, and then shipped to be assembled onto the frame.

The hotel contains 168 guest rooms.
