Hancock County Wind Farm is located in two clusters: one is just south of Duncan (midway between Britt and Garner, Iowa), and the other sits a few miles northwest of Goodell, stretching a total of about 11 miles north-to-south. Commissioned in 2002, it consists of 148 Vestas V47/660 wind turbines with a combined nominal capacity of 97.68 MW.
