Century Wind Farm is located in a roughly rectangular area stretching about 4 miles east-west and 1-8 miles north of Blairsburg, Iowa. It is actually registered as 3 wind farms, called Century I, Century II and Century III:
• Century I was constructed in 2005 and contains 100 GE Energy 1.5s turbines with a combined nominal capacity of 150 MW.
• Century II was constructed in 2005 and contains 35 Mitsubishi MWT-1000-61 turbines with a combined nominal capacity of 35 MW.
• Century III was completed in 2008 and contains 10 GE Energy 1.5sle turbines with a combined nominal capacity of 15 MW.
In total, these 3 phases of the Century wind farm contain 145 wind turbines with a nameplate capacity of 200 MW.

On the ground, the individual turbines for phases I & III are slightly intermingled with each other in the northeast section of the site. The 35 turbines of Century II are all located in the southernmost section, closest to Blairsburg.
