KHILWATH Ground, which is used for a playground today, was previously called as 'KHILWATH CHAMAN'.

This was a place for the Nizams to have a siesta and relax after a hard day's work. Khilwath Chaman was abundant in greenery, fourishing with beautiful fountains and rich furniture for the Nizams to sit on.

It is located just opposite to the Khilwath Palace. There is a road in between the Palace and the Ground which was not there at the time of the Nizams, and the Khilwath Chaman was a part of the Palace as an interior ground.
