Laid down at the BAE Systems Naval Ships yard at Scotstoun on the River Clyde on 19 December 2005, and commissioned into Royal Navy service in April of 2012, HMS Dragon is the fourth member of the Type 45 or Daring Class of Guided Missile Destroyers presently in service with the Royal Navy. Shown here during her 2015 refit period, the Dragon is homeported at HMNB Portsmouth.
