This temple festival commenly celebrated by 3 villagers(ciru maruthur,mettu patty, vaiyapurippatty).Annual festival celebration generally every year of the month MAY. Which is 3 days celebration,first 2 days for thank giving to lord Ayyanar by devotees their successful offering.The final day is very very interesting! and adventures.Which is called "jallikattu" such like Alanga nallur.this is one of the most famous in tamilnadu.
