Nine story apartment building constructed in 1926 as the Savarine Hotel which provided lodging for men with 524 rooms. It was later converted into 158 low income housing units and eventually closed in 2004 after losing its Housing Authority contract. In 2006, restoration work began to convert the building into an 118 apartment building.Shortly thereafter work ceased and the building remains vacant.
