Purpose of Facility: Mooring floating drydock; and vessels-and-barges for outfitting, conversion, and repair. Current Operator: Honolulu Shipyard, Inc. Tel: (808) 848-6230. Remarks: One 400-ton marine railway at slip between rear of face and east side of adjacent, company-owned Pier 42A. Floating drydock "Ke Kaulana" moors at outer end of face with 2,280-long-ton capacity. Wharf has service lines for supplying fresh and salt water with a compressed-air line. Concrete pile, concrete-decked wharf; fronted by rubber- fender system. One 90- and one 22 1/2-ton, diesel mobile cranes with 150- and 80-foot booms, respectively; and one 10- and one 5-ton, overhead electric-traveling bridge cranes at rear of center portion of wharf serving fabrication and machine shops.
