The Kapalama Container Terminal is a project of the Hawaii Department of Transportation to expand the Port of Honolulu's container capacity. The 90 acre facility is located on a portion of the former Kapalama Military Reservation which was acquired by the State of Hawaii in the early 1990s.
The former World War II era warehouses are being demolished, with all tenants to vacate the property by February 2014.
